Job summary

VC3 is headquartered in Minnesota and provides managed IT services across the United States and Canada. The IT Technical Account Manager will engage with municipal and enterprise clients, aligning technology roadmaps with evolving business goals and managing long-term technology planning.

Based in Minnesota/Wisconsin, you will partner with clients, lead renewal conversations, and drive service expansion while delivering trusted advisory support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of solid business experience (Technical Account Manager experience preferred).
• 2+ years working in an IT industry or technical experience; Managed Services Provider experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• IT certifications (ITIL, MCP) or related IT/business education are assets.
• Proven ability in relationship building, data analysis, consultative selling and collaboration.
• Experience with municipal clients/leaders is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with the decision-making contact at each client assigned to them.
• Understand each client’s business goals, needs, challenges, and regulatory requirements related to technology.
• Act as trusted advisor regarding adopting VC3 technology solutions that align with the client’s business.
• Lead the contract renewal process and explore opportunities to expand service scope.
• Explain risks and liabilities to clients and document decisions to manage VC3 risk.
• Respond to client communications within the ITA’s scope or connect them to the right resource in a timely manner.
