Job summary

VC3, Inc. is seeking an IT Technical Account Manager based in Minnesota or Wisconsin. You will engage with municipal and other clients, acting as a trusted advisor to align technology with business goals and manage renewals.

The role requires 5+ years of business experience and 2+ years in IT services with MSP exposure. A bachelor’s degree is required; ITIL/MCP certifications are a plus, and a remote-first, flexible onsite model is offered.

Qualifications

• Based in Minnesota or Wisconsin or nearby to qualify.
• 5+ years of solid business experience; 2+ years in IT industry; MSP experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; IT certifications are an asset (e.g., ITIL, MCP).

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with client decision-makers on assigned accounts.
• Understand client goals, needs, challenges, and regulatory requirements related to technology.
• Act as trusted advisor for adopting VC3 technology solutions and to support technology investments.
• Lead contract renewal process and seek opportunities to expand service scope with clients.
• Communicate risks and decisions to clients and document them as needed.
• Coordinate timely client communications within the ITA scope or connect to appropriate teams.
• Schedule and prepare client meetings to align with VC3 standards and roadmap.
• Explain business needs and outcomes required to scope and present solutions.
• Lead quarterly client calls to ensure roadmap alignment and next steps.
• Identify areas where new technology solutions are needed and coordinate with internal teams.
