Job summary

Atlassian is seeking an experienced Employee Relations professional to lead investigations and advise people leaders on performance and conduct issues across the United States and Canada. You will partner with HRBPs and Legal to ensure compliant, fair outcomes while maintaining trust and confidentiality.

You will apply in-depth knowledge of local employment laws and provide data-driven insights to prevent issues and improve people practices.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of Employee Relations or related HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record leading end-to-end workplace investigations and complex performance management situations.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. and Canada employment laws, labor regulations, and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end workplace investigations into grievances, policy violations, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation claims with objective analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Partner with managers to navigate performance issues and conduct risk reviews for involuntary separations and PIPs.
• Serve as a trusted ER advisor, working with HRBPs, Legal, and cross-functional teams to resolve sensitive employee matters.
