Job summary

Booksy is seeking an Associate Data Engineering Manager to lead a small team of data engineers while staying hands-on, reporting to the Head of Data Engineering. You will design, build, and review dbt models and pipelines on BigQuery to ensure reliable, performant data ready for action.

You will spend half your time growing your team through agile ceremonies and quarterly OKRs, and the other half coding and reviewing to keep data quality high.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on data engineering with initial leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 2-4 person data engineering team and own quarterly OKRs.
• Design, build, and review dbt models and pipelines on BigQuery for reliable data.
• Balance hands-on coding with leadership and agile ceremonies like sprint planning.
