Pandoblox is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to transform raw source systems into governed data marts and enterprise‑grade data platforms.

This hands‑on role emphasizes dbt, BigQuery, and end‑to‑end data pipelines for multi‑client engagements. You will own ingestion, validation, modeling, and metric definitions while collaborating with clients and analysts. A strong English communicator and deep SQL skills are essential in a remote, US‑time‑zone environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• Hands-on production ownership of cloud data warehouses.
• Expertise with dbt Core and BigQuery preferred.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and dimensional modeling foundations.
• Experience integrating ERP/CRM/HRIS data sources.
• Proficient in English communication and working with stakeholders.
• Willingness to work US Pacific time or client hours.

Responsibilities

• Stand up and operate client data ingestion into the warehouse via ELT.
• Build and maintain dbt projects for each client assignment.
• Define and reconcile metrics and source‑of‑truth numbers.
• Collaborate with operators, controllers, and analysts to extract domain logic.
• Implement automated testing, validation, and data quality processes.
• Operate with Git-based version control and CI workflows.
