Job summary

Booksy is seeking an Associate Data Platform Engineering Manager to lead a 2–3 person team and stay hands-on with core platform engineering on GCP. You will coach, drive agile delivery, and manage OKRs while building reliable, secure data infrastructure.

Responsibilities include designing Terraform/Terragrunt modules, championing data security, and delivering self‑service tooling for downstream teams. Strong English required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering, with initial experience leading, mentoring, or managing tech teams.
• Deep, practical IaC experience using Terraform/Terragrunt on Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong familiarity with GCP data services (BigQuery, Cloud Composer, GKE, IAM) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Platform-as-a-Product mindset focusing on customer enablement, reliability, governance, and security.
• Professional English language skills (B2 level or higher).

Responsibilities

• Lead a small, high-impact team of 2–3 platform engineers while remaining hands-on.
• Balance people leadership, agile delivery, and driving OKRs with engineering tasks.
• Design reliable Terraform/Terragrunt modules on GCP and promote secure data practices.
• Establish standard, self‑service developer tools for downstream data teams.
