Job summary

Booksy is seeking an Associate Data Platform Engineering Manager to lead a small, high‑impact team while staying closely involved in hands‑on work. You will design Terraform/Terragrunt modules on GCP, champion data security controls, and build self‑service tools for downstream data teams, enabling reliable, secure customer data platforms.

The role blends people leadership with engineering execution and requires strong English communication.

Qualifications

5+ years in data platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering with initial leadership experience.
Terraform/Terragrunt IaC experience, preferably on Google Cloud Platform.
GCP data services such as BigQuery, Cloud Composer, GKE, IAM; strong CI/CD pipeline experience.
Platform‑as‑a‑Product mindset focusing on reliability, governance, security.
Professional English communication at least B2 level.

Responsibilities

Lead a small 2–3 person platform engineering team while remaining hands‑on on technical work.
Balance people leadership, agile delivery, OKRs, and engineering tasks.
Design reliable Terraform/Terragrunt modules on GCP and promote data security controls.
Establish self‑service developer tools for downstream data teams.
