Job summary

Coinbase is seeking an Associate, Broker Dealer Operations to join the Capital Markets team within Finance and operate the daily engine behind our U.S. equities brokerage experience. You will manage customer accounts, trades, cash, positions, transfers, and corporate actions with accuracy and scale.

You will execute core broker-dealer workflows, investigate exceptions, and drive improvements that enhance safety, efficiency and customer outcomes for millions of customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in financial services operations or related control functions.
• Knowledge of U.S. equities lifecycle, including trades, settlements and transfers.
• Experience investigating data breaks and documenting resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily trade, position, balance, and cash reconciliations between Coinbase and Apex records with full documentation.
• Support customer account onboarding and maintenance workflows, including documentation review and exception escalation.
• Process inbound and outbound securities transfers (ACATs) end-to-end from intake to submission and tracking.
• Monitor alerts and queues, coordinate remediation across Engineering, Product, Trading, CX, Compliance, Finance, and Apex.
• Review notices for corporate actions, validate deadlines, allocations, and post-event discrepancies.
• Identify recurring failure modes and propose practical improvements to reduce manual work and improve outcomes.
