Job summary

Coinbase, a remote-first company building the future of finance, is seeking an Associate, Broker Dealer Operations to join the Coinbase Capital Markets team within Finance. You will help run the daily operational engine behind our U.S.

equities brokerage experience, ensuring accounts, trades, cash, positions, transfers and corporate actions are accurate, controlled, and scalable. You will execute core broker-dealer workflows, investigate exceptions, and drive improvements that improve safety,

Qualifications

2+ years in financial services operations or related field.
Familiar with U.S. equities lifecycle concepts (orders, settlement, actions).
Experience investigating data breaks across multiple systems and resolving issues.
Ability to follow runbooks in a regulated environment and escalate as needed.
Familiar with broker-dealer tools such as Jira or workflow platforms.

Responsibilities

Execute daily trade, position, balance, and cash reconciliations with documentation.
Support onboarding and maintenance workflows, including documentation review.
Process inbound/outbound securities transfers end-to-end and track exceptions.
Monitor alerts, prioritize issues, and coordinate remediation across teams.
Review corporate actions and validate allocations; investigate post-event discrepancies.
Identify recurring failures and propose improvements to reduce manual work.
