Coinbase, Inc. is seeking an Associate, Broker Dealer Operations to join the Coinbase Capital Markets team within Finance and help run the daily operational engine behind the U.S. equities brokerage experience.

This role requires 2+ years in financial services operations, knowledge of the equities lifecycle, and the ability to investigate data breaks across systems. Expect close collaboration with Engineering, Product, Trading, CX, Compliance, Finance, and Apex.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in financial services operations or related area.
• Knowledge of U.S. equities trade lifecycle concepts.
• Experience investigating data breaks or operational exceptions.
• Ability to follow procedures in a regulated environment.
• Familiarity with clearing platforms, Jira, SQL, or similar tools.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily reconciliations between Coinbase and Apex records, investigating and resolving breaks with full documentation.
• Support onboarding and maintenance workflows, including documentation review and status follow-up.
• Process inbound and outbound securities transfers (ACATs) end-to-end, from intake through submission and resolution.
• Monitor operational alerts and exception queues, coordinate remediation across Engineering, Product, Trading, CX, Compliance, Finance, and Apex.
• Support corporate action operations by reviewing notices, deadlines, allocations, and discrepancies.
• Identify recurring failure modes and propose practical improvements to reduce manual work and improve outcomes.
