Job summary

Plus Power is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of stand-alone battery energy storage systems (BESS) and coordinate with Front Office, Analytics, Finance, Legal, and Engineering teams. You will manage third-party contractors, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with operating agreements and industry standards.

The role requires 5+ years in asset management within renewables or BESS, strong project management, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of asset management experience in renewables or BESS
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of utility-scale BESS portfolio
• Monitor asset performance and KPIs; identify anomalies and improve efficiency
• Coordinate budgets with Accounting and Analytics Services
• Manage O&M and third-party contractor agreements
• Schedule and supervise contractor maintenance with minimal production impact
• Coordinate outages and incident investigations
• Support pre-construction engineering and EPC reviews related to operations
• Ensure compliance with NERC/ISO procedures and project operating agreements
