Job summary

Plus Power is hiring an Asset Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of stand-alone battery energy storage systems. You will collaborate with Front Office, Analytics, Finance, Legal, and Engineering teams and manage third-party contractors.

Candidates should have 5+ years in asset management within renewables, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and experience with BESS/SCADA systems. Travel up to 20% and strong contract literacy are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of asset management experience in the renewable energy industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, business, or a related field.
• Experience with Power, Energy, Renewables, or BESS; familiar with industry terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of utility-scale stand-alone battery storage assets.
• Monitor asset performance and KPIs; identify anomalies and improve plant performance.
• Prepare operational budgets with Accounting and Analytic Services.
• Manage O&M and third-party contracts to ensure compliance and long-term relationships.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and outages with third-party contractors.
• Support pre-construction engineering and development with contract terms review.
