Job summary
Plus Power is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee daily operations of stand-alone battery energy storage projects. You will coordinate with Front Office, Analytics Services, Finance, Legal, and Engineering Procurement & Construction, while managing third-party contractors to ensure world-class asset management.
The role requires 5+ years in asset management within renewables, strong contract interpretation, and proven project management skills.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of asset management experience in the renewable energy industry.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, business, or a related field.
- Experience with Power, Energy, Renewables, or BESS and familiarity with industry terminology.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of a portfolio of utility-scale, stand-alone battery energy storage systems (BESS).
- Monitor asset performance against KPIs and improve plant performance.
- Prepare budgets with Accounting and Analytics Services; manage O&M contracts and third-party providers.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and outages to minimize production impact.
- Ensure compliance with NERC/ISO procedures and project operating agreements.
