Job summary

Plus Power is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of stand-alone battery energy storage systems (BESS). The role requires coordinating across Front Office, Analytics Services, Finance, Legal, and Engineering Procurement & Construction, while supervising third‑party contractors to ensure best-in-class asset management for operating projects.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in renewable energy asset management, strong project management, and familiarity with BESS

Qualifications

• 5+ years of asset management experience in renewable energy.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, business or related field.
• Experience with BESS, power markets, and industry terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a portfolio of utility-scale, standalone BESS.
• Monitor asset performance and analyze KPIs to improve plant performance.
• Prepare budgets with Accounting and Analytics services; manage O&M contracts.
• Ensure compliance with NERC/ISO procedures and training of staff.
• Coordinate third-party contractors and pre-construction to operations handover.
