Job summary

Plus Power is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its stand-alone energy storage projects. You will collaborate with Front Office, Analytics Services, Finance, Legal, and EPC teams, while coordinating third-party contractors to ensure world-class asset management.

The role requires 5+ years in asset management within renewables, a related bachelor’s degree, and knowledge of ERCOT/ISO markets. Travel ~20% and a hybrid/remote-friendly setup through multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of asset management experience in renewable energy.
• Experience with power, energy, renewables or BESS is required.
• Ability to read and interpret PPAs, LGIAs, financing agreements, and other contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a portfolio of utility-scale stand-alone battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Monitor asset performance and KPIs, identify anomalies and drive improvements.
• Prepare operational budgets in collaboration with Accounting and Analytics Services.
• Manage O&M and third-party agreements to ensure compliance and strong vendor relationships.
• Coordinate maintenance outages and ensure minimal production impact.
• Lead risk assessments and implement preventive/corrective actions.
• Support pre-construction engineering, EPC, and development reviews related to operations.
