Qualifications

• Must have CFEI or CFI certification.
• Must obtain Private Investigator License within 60 days if applicable.
• Familiar with NFPA 921 and qualified as fire investigator per NFPA 1033.
• Previous expert testimony/deposition experience is preferred.
• College coursework or degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely field visits to loss sites for cause and origin investigations.
• Provide unbiased analysis and consultation on fires and explosions.
• Perform field studies and daily research.
• Travel within a 100-mile radius from the assigned office; overnight travel may be required.
• Maintain client interactions and communicate timelines and project updates.
