Placements24 is seeking a Remote Lead Software Engineer for a cutting-edge FinTech trading platform. You will architect, design, and drive delivery across a distributed team of engineers, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.

You will guide technical strategy, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into scalable solutions in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive software development experience.
• At least 2 years in technical leadership or lead engineer role.
• Experience architecting and building complex distributed systems.
• Mastery of modern languages: Java, Python, Go, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable FinTech platform services.
• Architect robust software solutions using modern design patterns and technologies.
• Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Drive best practices in coding standards, testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the platform.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies and tools to improve development processes and product capabilities.
• Ensure the security and compliance of the platform with relevant financial regulations.
• Contribute to technical strategy discussions and roadmap planning.
