Rain is the world’s first AI Financial Health Platform. We seek a Tech Lead to guide backend, frontend, and QA engineers, owning core systems for transactions, balances, and financial movement across our platform.

You will shape architecture and drive reliability in a fast-paced, remote environment. As a hands-on leader, you’ll design complex distributed systems, mentor engineers, and ensure scalable APIs and robust integrations with banking partners.

Qualifications

• Translate product requirements into robust technical solutions and lead engineering efforts to meet targets.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team and manage refinements and productivity.
• Design and implement reliable systems in a distributed micro-services architecture.
• Build and maintain integrations with 3rd-party vendors and partners.
• Design and implement highly available RESTful APIs for internal portals.
• Create reusable code and libraries for cross-team collaboration.
• Enforce observability with logging, metrics, and alerting systems.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for architectures, APIs, workflows and configurations.
• Continuously monitor Rain systems for performance and scalability.
• Communicate effectively across teams to align priorities and dependencies.
