Job summary

Decile Group is hiring a Finance & People Operations Associate to run day-to-day finance and HR operations for a fast-growing fintech. You will own processes end-to-end from day one, supporting payroll, invoicing, and compliance in a remote-first environment.

This role requires 5–10 years in accounting, HR, or finance operations at a startup/fintech, with hands-on Rippling and QuickBooks experience and strong Excel skills. Applicants must be based in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in accounting, HR, or finance operations at startup/tech/fintech.
• Hands-on Rippling experience (HR, payroll, or benefits).
• Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar cloud accounting.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Demonstrated ability to own end-to-end processes.
• Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion.
• Clear, professional written communication.
• You know what a cap table is or will learn fast.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day finance and people operations for a fast-growing fintech.
• Manage quarterly AR and vendor AP processing and payroll in Rippling.
• Support month-end close, reconciliations, and benefits expense.
• Handle multi-state payroll registrations as the team grows.
• Maintain HR records and regulatory compliance for remote-first headcount.
• Assist VP of Finance with reporting, audits, and operations projects.
