Job summary

Kafene is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive growth by identifying and onboarding new retail partners in furniture, appliances and durable goods. This remote role is based within a 100-mile radius of Hartford, CT or Bridgeport, CT, with travel to client sites required.

You will lead outbound outreach, tailor financing solutions, and collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimize messaging and tools.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in B2B business development, specifically in an outside/field sales role.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong understanding of retail operations and financing solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently and with a team.
Proficient in Salesforce and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have a valid driver’s license for regular client-site travel.

Responsibilities

Identify and target prospective retail partners within designated industries and regions.
Conduct outbound sales activities (calls, emails, in-person visits) to engage decision-makers.
Present Kafene’s financing solutions tailored to retailer needs.
Develop and execute a business development plan to meet sales targets.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sales strategies with company objectives.
