Job summary

Kafene is hiring a Business Development Manager to identify, sign, and onboard new retail partners. This remote role is based out of Hartford, CT or Bridgeport, CT with travel to client sites within a 100-mile radius.

You’ll build relationships with retailers in furniture, appliances, and other durable goods, meeting sales targets and collaborating with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in B2B business development in outside/field sales, preferably fintech or retail.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of retail operations and financing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target prospective retail partners within designated industries and regions.
• Conduct outbound activities (calls, emails, visits) to engage decision-makers.
• Present Kafene’s financing solutions tailored to retailer needs.
