Responsibilities

• Manage a call queue and support patients by initiating financial assistance applications.
• Handle self-pay accounts and set up payment arrangements.
• Process payments and respond to billing inquiries for hospital and physician accounts.
• Provide account status updates to patients and insurers showing resources investigated.
• Identify billing or coding problems and route issues to the appropriate department.
