Job summary

Acture Germany GmbH is seeking a Financial Controller / General Ledger Accountant to ensure reliable and efficient financial processes. You will manage the general ledger, support financial statement preparation, and help drive digitalization of finance operations.

You will collaborate with tax advisors, auditors, and internal teams, ensuring compliance with legal and internal requirements while growing a scalable finance function.

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship or a degree with a finance focus.
• You bring several years of professional experience in financial accounting or related roles.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and experience in preparing monthly/quarterly/annual statements.
• Experience with VAT and tax matters.
• Strong analytical mindset and ownership of topics.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger and fixed asset accounting routines.
• Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review, reconcile and analyze balance sheet and intercompany accounts.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure timely submission.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization of finance processes.
