Job summary

Confidential seeks a Head of Finance & Accounting to lead and transform the German finance function. You will guide ~15 professionals, own the closing processes, and ensure compliant reporting under HGB and IFRS in a dynamic environment.

You will drive finance transformation, including process automation and organisational change, while partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders. A WP and/or CPA with strong analytics and stakeholder skills is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Wirtschaftsprüfer (WP) and/or CPA.
• Extensive expertise in HGB and IFRS accounting.
• Proven experience leading accounting, financial reporting, auditing or finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close with high-quality reporting.
• Maintain robust internal controls and statutory reporting obligations.
• Lead external audits and manage relationships with auditors.
