Job summary

Studyportals is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to lead external reporting and audit activities across jurisdictions. You will own the annual audit process, coordinate with external auditors, and deliver consolidated financial information with accuracy and timeliness.

Joining the Finance team, you will collaborate with the Head of Finance and drive month-end close, intercompany accounting, and financial analysis in a global environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial control, accounting, financial reporting or audit.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements (Dutch GAAP and/or IFRS).
• Hands-on experience with month-end closing, reconciliations, group consolidations and annual financial statements.
• Experience coordinating or supporting external audits and audit documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare group consolidations and monthly management reporting, including commentary.
• Coordinate interim/year-end audits and international statutory reporting with external auditors.
• Prepare annual financial statements and SBR filings with supporting schedules.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities including accruals, provisions, capitalization and intercompany accounting.
• Provide cash flow forecasting, financial modelling and variance analysis.
