Vinterior is seeking a Financial Controller to own the daily finance function, reporting to the Founder & CEO, and to manage the Finance Manager. The role covers month-end, revenue recognition, cash planning, and compliance in a small, remote team.

You will drive improvements to finance processes, systems and controls, partner with non-finance colleagues, and contribute to business decisions with financial insight. Prior experience in a marketplace or e-commerce setting is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or substantial equivalent experience.
• Experience owning month-end accounts, reconciliations, cash forecasting and budgeting.

Responsabilités

• Own financial control and reporting with monthly accounts and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure smooth marketplace payments, revenue recognition and revenue leakage investigations.
• Maintain cash-flow forecasts, budgets and rolling financial outlooks; explain variances and risks.
• Oversee compliance including VAT, statutory accounts and international requirements.
• Manage payroll and people administration collaboration.
• Improve margins, payment costs and operating expenditure through analysis.
• Own finance systems (Xero) and automation to improve accuracy and controls.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and CX on cross-functional projects.
