Job summary

Justworks is seeking a Financial Benefits Project Manager to lead initiatives around the 401(k) MEP and Benefits Billing, coordinating with Retirement, Benefits Billing, Product and Engineering, and Finance teams. You will drive process improvements, audits, and documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of work experience in operations or project management.
• Prior Retirement experience required.
• PMP certification preferred.
• RPF certification or equivalency required.
• Understanding and experience utilizing AI programs and automation applications strongly preferred.
• Experience working with PEOs preferred.
• Knowledge of benefits billing preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; skilled in presenting and hosting meetings, trainings, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects related to the 401(k) MEP and Benefits Billing, including onboarding, overseeing, and managing new and existing projects.
• Engage with stakeholders across multiple departments and external partners to define requirements and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance, payroll information handling, reconciliation, and process automation for Financial Benefits.
• Manage audits, documentation, and ongoing process improvements related to retirement benefits and benefits billing.
