Zusammenfassung

Justworks, based in New York City, seeks a Manager, Medical Benefit Operations to lead the medical benefits team and optimize end-to-end benefits processes. You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Compliance to drive scalable, high-quality service for members and dependents, while modeling a data-driven, AI-enabled approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 5+ years in operations, onboarding or customer service.
• Minimum of 2 years of people and team management experience.
• Knowledge of benefit or insurance plans.
• Experience with ticket management systems (e.g. Jira) and workflows.
• Experience with AI and automation tools (e.g. Claude, Gemini, Gumloop).
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with SQL preferred.
• Strong project management and execution skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Extremely detail-oriented with great time management and critical thinking skills.
• Relationship/partner management experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Aufgaben

• Lead and oversee day-to-day medical benefits operations for Justworks members and dependents.
• Forecast ticket volume and scale support with company growth.
• Establish KPIs, SLAs and dashboards; ensure quality of responses.
• Provide onboarding and ongoing training to the team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Underwriting, Billing, Customer Support and Legal/Compliance.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement automation and SOPs.
• Recruit and screen talent to ensure business continuity.
• Maintain relationships with carriers and external partners.
