Job summary

Deckers Brands in Goleta, CA is seeking a Financial Analyst - Retail to support NA commercial financial planning, reporting, and analysis. You will partner with finance leadership to deliver accurate insights, assist budgeting and forecasting, and support month-end close activities.

You will develop and maintain financial models, perform variance analysis, and drive basic automation to improve efficiency and data quality. Ideal for candidates with 0–2 years of experience and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, or related field; professional experience accepted.
• 0-2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related roles.
• Prior experience in Consumer Products or Retail industry is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient Excel; basic financial modeling.
• Experience with Oracle or Hyperion is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support quarterly forecast and annual budget processes with updated models and inputs.
• Review submissions for accuracy, perform variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Prepare summary reports and communicate key drivers to finance leadership.
• Create and maintain recurring financial and management reports.
• Assist in maintaining financial models and support ad hoc analyses.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities and collaboration with accounting.
