Job summary

Rula, a remote-first healthcare tech company, seeks a Director of Finance Systems to own the technology behind accounting and financial reporting and accelerate a faster, more automated close. You will oversee core finance systems including NetSuite, Ramp, Zip, FloQast, and revenue reporting tools, and partner with Engineering to bake Finance needs in from the start.

Sitting at the intersection of finance, systems, and AI, you will lead AI strategy for Accounting, build ITGC and controls, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years in finance systems or ERP administration in growing companies.
• Led at least one finance system implementation through testing, cutover and go-live.
• Design, implement or maintain IT general controls for financial reporting in audit-ready environments.
• Owned or governed a chart of accounts and built NetSuite reports or saved searches.
• Partnered with Accounting, Procurement and Engineering to translate business needs into system workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the technology behind accounting and financial reporting, driving automation.
• Oversee NetSuite, Ramp, Zip, FloQast and related tools; lead system launches.
• Partner with Engineering to embed Finance needs from the start.
• Define AI strategy for Accounting: agents, data flows to NetSuite, safeguards for accuracy.
• Build ITGC and financial systems controls to scale with the business.
