Job summary

Global Impact is seeking an Accounting Manager in the Finance & Business Services group. The role oversees internal controls, budgeting, audits, and leadership of the accounting team.

It involves managing client cash, grants, and reporting to stakeholders, with a focus on delivering accurate financial information and strong customer service. The position may be fully remote with occasional travel to Washington, D.C.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive nonprofit accounting experience.
• Experience with donor grant agreements and restricted grant accounting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day internal controls and operations, leading team members in the department.
• Review and issue timely client deliverables with analysis to ensure accurate information reported to clients and stakeholders.
• Manage client cash and investment management.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and cash forecasting for clients.
• Manage audit and tax processes and ensure timely reporting.
