Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Finance Manager, AR, IA, MO to lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial planning for a cross-unit finance pod. You will partner with the Finance Director and BU staff to guide resource allocation and sustain financial health.

Remote within the Great Plains Division; travel up to 10% annually. Strong Excel and Workday experience preferred; proven ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations while maintaining internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience using Workday or similar HRIS/ERP systems including data entry, reporting, analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to be a strategic finance partner and influence decision-making.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and translating financial data into insights.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, close, and grant administration for a pod in partnership with the Finance Director.
• Provide financial analysis and modeling to inform planning and resource allocation.
• Maintain data integrity, internal controls, and financial systems.
