J.S. Held LLC is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the controllership function in a remote capacity. The role focuses on month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting under U.S. GAAP, with travel only as needed for meetings (~5%).

You will coordinate with corporate FP&A and support one of our newly acquired businesses. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of accounting experience, a degree in accounting, and strong Excel skills. CPA or MBA is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 8–10 years of experience in accounting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving responsibilities and scope.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all local accounting activities, including month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal control requirements.
• Coordinate with corporate accounting for consolidated reporting and audits.
• Maintain books and records and timely close processes.
• Oversee end-to-end billing operations and improve billing cycle efficiency.
• Manage accounts receivable, collections, and cash application, monitoring DSO and working capital metrics.
• Lead accounts payable activities including vendor onboarding and payments.
• Serve as liaison with corporate FP&A for KPI reporting.
• Ensure tax compliance and liaise with external firms.
