SEH is seeking an Assistant Controller to join our finance team in an employee‑owned company focused on infrastructure and community projects. You will lead monthly closes, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and partner with senior leadership on financial strategy.

The role offers a remote work option across most US states, with opportunities to influence audits, treasury, and process improvement while mentoring accounting staff. CPA preferred; Bachelor's in accounting required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA, active or inactive, preferred.
• Experience as Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller / Controller.
• Experience with annual financial statement audits.
• Broad end-to-end accounting operations knowledge.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and controls.
• Proven ability to lead accounting teams.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel.

Mansioni

• Lead all accounting operations including monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Evaluate accounting standards and regulatory changes with leadership.
• Coordinate with external auditors for audits and controls.
• Manage treasury activities: cash, forecasting, bank relationships.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls across sites.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and variance analyses.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost management with teams.
