Advocate Health is seeking a Finance/Accounting internship for Summer 2027. The role is remote for residents in MO and select states, with a 40-hour workweek from May 31 to August 6, 2027.

You will develop automated Excel processes, analyze charges, and support budgeting and revenue-cycle projects within a healthcare setting. Ideal candidates are pursuing finance/ accounting or related fields, with at least a 2.5 GPA, strong communication, and detail orientation.

Qualifikationen

• Current enrollment with junior or senior status at a regional accredited college or university.

Aufgaben

• Develop automated processes in Excel to minimize manual efforts.
• Review, analyze, and investigate discrepancies in charges and assist in changes for professional and hospital charges.
• Prepare financial and statistical analysis and assist in data extraction for trend calculations.
• Participate in cost accounting standards development and variance analysis.
• Develop procedural pricing using costing methodologies and market data.
• Prepare, communicate and monitor operating and capital budgets.
