Job summary

Mercury GSE is seeking a Remote Technician to perform complex troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs on our GSE fleet. The role is field-based, serving as the primary resource at customer locations and building trust to grow Mercury GSE relationships.

This position requires strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, ability to travel 100% of the time, and a commitment to safety, quality, and clear documentation. A valid driver's license and own tools are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible heavy diesel vehicle experience preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing GSE with strong customer interaction.
• Ability to travel 100% domestically and internationally with short notice.
• Must have own tools and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as customer contact on technical equipment issues.
• Troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, and rework GSE.
• Follow Mercury GSE safety, quality, and documentation standards.
• Diagnose powertrain assemblies and components.
• Read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
