Job summary

GEA Group is seeking a field service professional to travel to customer sites for preventive maintenance and emergency service. You will install and commission new machines, train customers, and troubleshoot mechanical issues while maintaining high service standards.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years with mechanical equipment, can travel up to 75%, and work up to 12 hours with occasional weekends. A valid driver license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; minimum 5 years working with mechanical equipment.
• Travel up to 75%.
• Ability to work up to 12 hours at times.
• Occasional weekend work.
• Understanding of hand tools and mechanical techniques.
• Computer literate.
• Some technical writing skills.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams and technical manuals.
• Must function well in an unsupervised position.
• Must have a valid driver license.
• Able to discuss technically complex issues with non-technical people.
• Good organizational skills, especially on site.
• High School education required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to perform preventive maintenance and emergency service.
