Job summary

Nike, Inc. seeks a Field Support Engineer to deliver first-line IT support for Windows and Linux platforms, focusing on OS engineering, patching, and lifecycle management across PCs and servers. You will communicate strategy, roadmaps, and incidents with cross-functional partners.

About 70–80% of the work is remote, with 20–30% in-person at local Memphis locations. You will collaborate with ~15 teammates under the Director, Resilience Technology & Engineering, across Nike facilities in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of IT experience with Windows platforms.
• 3+ years server administration experience (MCSE, MCP, etc.).
• 3+ years Linux experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Experience with Windows 11, desktop analytics, PowerShell.
• 3+ years desktop support (Windows & macOS).
• Experience with physical security hardware and access control.
• Strong AD knowledge: GPOs, admin templates, logon scripts.
• Experience with patch management for Windows and M365.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-line end-user support for hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Proactively analyze data and coordinate with IT teams to improve services.
• Serve as single point of contact between service integrators and users.
• Manage incidents and requests using an enterprise service tool; keep stakeholders updated.
• Work 70–80% remotely and 20–30% in-person in the Memphis area.
