Job summary

Connection Services is seeking a Field Solution Architect (FSA) for a remote role based in TX, with strong cloud, SaaS, security, and virtualization strengths. You will drive cloud-first solutions, lead advanced architectures, and partner with account teams to capture new business.

The role emphasizes pre-sales, customer workshops, and strategic initiatives across Azure, M365, and modern workplace tech, with a path for growth and strong compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience; 10+ years for full proficiency.
• Proven experience in pre-sales engineering or solution architecture.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Managers to discover, qualify, and develop solution opportunities across target and existing accounts.
• Design and present advanced solution architectures focusing on cloud platforms and modern workplace tech.
• Drive revenue growth by penetrating new accounts and expanding existing relationships.
• Lead customer discussions to map business needs to cloud-based and outcome-driven solutions.
• Document discovery findings and solution designs to improve teamwork and follow-up.
• Support business development by identifying strategic cloud and digital transformation opportunities.
• Participate in customer calls, workshops, and presentations to position solution value.
• Enable sales teams through training on cloud technologies and Microsoft ecosystem.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives including new cloud solutions and go-to-market plans.
• Collaborate with ISAs, engineers, and leadership on solution development and delivery.
• Maintain ongoing engagement in technical pre-sales activities, including demos and assessments.
• Stay current with evolving technologies and maintain relevant certifications.
