Job summary

Connection Services is seeking a Field Solution Architect (FSA) for a remote role. You will penetrate accounts, design cloud-focused architectures, and drive modern solution delivery using SaaS and virtualization technologies.

The position emphasizes cloud-first strategies and cross-functional collaboration with sales and engineering teams. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in pre-sales or solution architecture, strong Azure/M365 knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of relevant experience; 10+ years for full proficiency.
Proven experience in pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, or consulting roles.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
Experience with Azure and M365 environments and cloud migrations.

Responsibilities

Partner with Account Managers to qualify and develop solution opportunities.
Design and present advanced solution architectures with cloud platforms and modern workplace technologies.
Drive revenue by penetrating new accounts and expanding relationships.
Lead customer discussions to align business needs with cloud-based solutions.
Document findings and designs to improve team collaboration and follow-up.
Support business development by identifying cloud and digital transformation opportunities.
Participate in customer calls, workshops, and presentations to demonstrate value.
Enable sales teams through training on cloud technologies and Microsoft ecosystem.
Collaborate with engineers and leadership on solution development.
Maintain ongoing engagement in pre-sales activities including demos and assessments.
