Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC is seeking a Service Technician to support our field service area around Santa Ana, CA. The role emphasizes safe, high-quality service, customer satisfaction, and hands-on repair of air compressors, dryers, and related equipment.

You will train at the Air Academy, work with Senior Technicians, and occasionally travel for paid training. The job requires a valid driver’s license, English fluency, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical experience in the mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; EPA certification is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments.
• Residency within 30 minutes to 1 hour of the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers (regenerative and refrigerated), drains, controllers, low pressure blowers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
• Travel to customer locations within the territory; participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool as scheduled by the Service Manager.
• Complete service-related documentation: service reports, startup forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, parts return documents.
• Attend training at our Air Academy and train with Senior Service Technicians.
• Promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of PPE.
• Provide high level of customer service and respond to customer needs while meeting expectations.
