Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC is seeking a Service Technician to support a growing field service area in Auburn, WA. You will perform preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, dryers, drains and controllers, and set up compressor systems.

You’ll learn advanced systems and attend Air Academy training while promoting strong safety practices. You will work independently within a 1–2 hour travel radius, be eligible for a company vehicle and equipment, and participate in 24/7

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance or electrical field.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul and repair of industrial equipment (electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics); HVAC is a plus.
• Residence within 30–60 minutes of the assigned territory and a valid driver’s license.
• Own basic required tools and ability to travel for training.
• Fluent in English and able to work independently to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low-pressure blowers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
• Learn and apply VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and air audits.
• Pressure wash and clean equipment pads, skids, coolers, tanks, etc.
• Communicate service details and options to customers and Service Manager.
• Complete all service-related documentation (reports, forms, warranties, oil samples, returns).
• Attend training at Air Academy with Senior Service Technicians and practice safety procedures.
• Provide high level of customer service and respond to customer needs.
• Participate in rotating on-call with travel to customer locations, including occasional overnight travel.
