Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC is seeking a Service Technician to service and repair air compressors, dryers, and related equipment. You will install systems, train with senior technicians, and travel within the territory to deliver top-notch customer service.

You will lift 50 lbs, work in challenging environments, and stay compliant with safety and training requirements, including occasional training trips and on-site support.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
• Independently complete tasks within deadlines.
• Customer-focused with ownership of meeting customer needs.
• Use computers to complete work orders, order parts and training.
• Provide basic required tools.
• Travel occasionally to Rock Hill, SC for paid training.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied industrial conditions.
• Basic mechanics and electrical theory understanding.
• Valid driver's license and fluent in English.
• reside within 30–60 minutes of the assigned territory; residency proof required.
• Park company vehicle at residence without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, low pressure blowers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
• Learn about VSDs, refrigeration, networks, remote monitoring, and air audits.
• Pressure wash and clean equipment pad and surroundings.
• Communicate options for repairs/upgrades to customer and Service Manager.
• Fill out service reports, startup forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return documents.
• Attend Air Academy training with Senior Service Technicians.
• Promote safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
• Provide high level customer service and respond to needs.
• Participate in rotating 24/7/365 on-call with travel to customer sites; occasional overnight travel.
• Subject to random drug testing.
