Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Service Technician to service compressors and related equipment. This remote role requires travel within a 1-2 hour radius of Santa Ana, CA and reports to the Service Manager. You will be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation with paid training and company vehicle support.

Candidate should have 1-2 years of mechanical/electrical experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. EPA certification is a plus and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul, and repair of industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics or pneumatics is preferred.
• HVAC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, low pressure blowers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
• Absorb new learning including VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and air audits.
• Pressure wash and clean equipment pads and surroundings.
• Communicate options for repairs or upgrades to customers and Service Manager.
• Complete service reports, warranty forms and other documentation.
• Attend training at Air Academy with Senior Service Technicians.
• Participate in 24/7/365 on-call rotation with travel to customer locations.
