Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC is seeking a Service Technician Trainee to expand our field service presence. You will be close to customers, service our equipment, and report to the Service Manager.

You will train at Air Academy, work with Senior Technicians, practice safety, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule with travel to customer locations. This remote role requires residency near Brighton, CO and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and fluent English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of mechanics and electrical theory.
• Ability to use computers to complete work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service and troubleshoot/repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low‑pressure blowers.
• Pressure wash and clean the customer’s equipment area and surroundings.
• Communicate with customer and Service Manager about services and options for repairs or upgrades.
• Complete service-related documentation (reports, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, parts return).
• Attend training at Air Academy and work with Senior Service Technicians.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed.
• Participate in rotating on‑call schedule with travel to customer locations.
