Job summary

Atlas Copco Compressors LLC seeks a Service Technician Trainee to support our field service mission, servicing air compressors and related equipment close to customer sites. You will work with Service Managers and Senior Technicians, performing preventive service, troubleshooting, and repairs with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

The role is fully remote, requiring residency in Brighton, CO or willingness to relocate, with on-call rotations and training at Air Academy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and fluency in English.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in industrial environments with temperature extremes.
• Basic understanding of mechanics and electrical theory.
• Proficient with computers to complete work orders.
• Resident within commuting distance to territory.
• Must be able to park a company vehicle at home.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low-pressure blowers.
• Pressure wash and clean the customer's equipment pad including skids, coolers, concrete, tanks, etc.
• Communicate with the customer and Service Manager regarding services performed and options for repairs or upgrades.
• Fill out service-related documentation, including service reports, startup forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return documents.
• Attend training at Air Academy and train with Senior Service Technicians.
• Promote and practice proper safety procedures and use of PPE.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians traveling to customer locations.
• Subject to random drug testing.
