Job summary
Epson America Inc. is seeking a Field Service Specialist to diagnose and repair professional, commercial, and industrial printing equipment. You will install, troubleshoot, and train customers, traveling to sites across Utah and beyond.
Based in the Salt Lake City area, you will provide on-site and remote support, document findings, and contribute to service projects while maintaining strong customer relationships and high-quality service.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of advanced technical or field service experience on commercial/industrial printing equipment
- On-site troubleshooting, repair, installation, and customer support experience
- Strong electromechanical troubleshooting for hardware and software
- Experience with RIP software, color management, ICC profiles
- Ability to travel >50% and work independently in the field
Responsibilities
- Diagnose product failures and perform on-site and remote repairs to return equipment to production
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and configuration issues
- Install Epson products and train customers on operation and maintenance
- Propose solutions to improve equipment performance and customer experience
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records
- Support pre/post-launch activities with installation and service documentation
