Job summary

Epson America, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Specialist to deliver on-site and remote support for professional printing products. You will diagnose faults, repair equipment, train customers, and improve overall performance in a highly customer-facing role.

The position requires Seattle-area residence with extensive travel, strong electromechanical and software troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of advanced technical field service experience for commercial/industrial printing equipment.
• On-site troubleshooting, repair, installation, and customer support experience.
• Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills for complex systems.
• Experience with RIP software, color management, and ICC profiles.
• Ability to travel >50% and work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose product failures and perform on-site and remote repairs to return equipment to production.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, configuration, and performance issues.
• Install Epson products and train customers on operation, production and maintenance.
• Recommend solutions to improve equipment performance and customer experience.
• Apply knowledge of electromechanical systems, printing, color theory and ICC profiles to resolve issues.
• Perform customer site evaluations and support installations.
• Provide technical and service training to partners as assigned.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records.
• Support pre- and post-launch activities with installation and support docs.
• Provide technical support via phone, email, chat, and on-site service.
