Job summary

Epson America, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Specialist to provide on-site and remote support for professional, commercial, and industrial printing equipment.

This remote role covers Las Cruces, NM area with significant travel to customer sites, delivering installation, troubleshooting, and training to keep Epson technology productive. You will diagnose complex issues, perform repairs, install products, and document service activities while collaborating with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Two-year program at community college or technical school, or equivalent education.
• 5–8 years of field service or technical support experience in commercial/industrial printing.
• Travel more than 50%, including short-notice trips for next-day service.
• Must reside in Greater Las Cruces or El Paso area and support NM and nearby regions.
• Strong electromechanical troubleshooting, hardware/software/networking skills.
• Ability to diagnose, repair, install, train customers, and document activities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose product failures and perform on-site and remote repairs to quickly return customer equipment to production.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, configuration, and equipment performance issues.
• Install Epson products and conduct customer training on operation, production, and maintenance.
• Recommend solutions to improve equipment performance and customer experience.
• Apply knowledge of electromechanical systems, printing, color theory, RIP software, and ICC profiles to troubleshoot issues.
• Perform customer site evaluations and support product installations.
• Provide technical and service training to service providers and partners as assigned.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate technical records; support pre/post-launch activities.
