Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and support Packaging & Automation equipment remotely with travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities include coordinating installations, calibrating HMIs, training operators, performing preventative maintenance, and generating service reports for customers. Strong problem-solving and documentation skills are a must.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in a technical field preferred with 3–5 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, schematics and manuals.
• Valid driver's license and passport or ability to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and support Packaging and Automation equipment remotely and onsite.
• Coordinate equipment and system installations and ensure proper function.
• Calibrate HMIs, meters, timers and related controls per manuals.
• Train operators and maintenance staff and perform preventative maintenance.
• Provide phone and onsite support; generate service reports and follow up actions.
